Dongdaemun
It was the last day of my trip in Korea. T and I decided to spend it at Dongdaemun, the area we visited on the first day, because we hadn't really explored the other places that were there. In the morning, when we were preparing to head out, T called the mall where I had lost my wallet; our last attempt at recovering it. They didn't have good news but I'd already expected it anyway. We checked out of the hotel and left our luggages with the concierge before setting off.
The entire afternoon was spent eating, wandering around and doing some last minute shopping. T bought himself new shoes. I was on the hunt for a new wallet but we didn't have much luck. Then, we returned back to the hotel in the evening for our luggages and took the cab to Seoul Station. Like the first day, we took the express train, this time to the airport.
The view from Seoul Station to Incheon Airport is especially pretty, even more so because the windows were tinted. We were very late when we arrived at the airport so we rushed to check in to our flight. Everything after was a blur and the next thing I knew, we were on the plane back home to Singapore.
I have very mixed feelings about the trip. I hadn't fallen in love with Korea, so I don't have any desire to go back. What I really did enjoy was spending time alone with T for five whole days, completely dependent on each other; getting lost; and saying good night to him before I succumbed to sleep, knowing I'll wake up tomorrow to another day with him.
Oh, and of course, I really liked the weather. LOL. That's all for my trip to Korea. Thank you for reading!
