Product Review & Swatches | ELF Studio Baked Highlighter in Moonlight Pearls

Hey guys! Today I'll be reviewing my all-time favourite highlighter from ELF. I much prefer this over the highlighter in my Sleek Face Form. Read on to find out why!

Product Description: Create a radiant glow with this illuminating powder that highlights the skin with a sheer wash of shimmering color. Infused with Vitamin E, Jojoba, Sunflower, Apricot and Grape to nourish and hydrate the skin. The long-lasting baked shimmering color can be applied wet for a vibrant effect or dry for sheer pigmentation.

There are three shades available: Moonlight Pearls (pale champagne) Pink Diamonds (pale pink) and Blush Gems (tan champagne).

Swatches:
L: Swatched with damp brush (wet)
R: Two swipes (dry)

Since I only wear a full face of make up if I'm going into town, this my go-to highlighter on those days. Moonlight Pearls is a gorgeous champagne colour that gives a frosty sheen when applied. The product comes in dome-shaped plastic packaging that, honestly, doesn't feel sturdy or durable at all. The highlighter itself, however, is pretty good for only $8 SGD. It's decently pigmented, not chalky and has zero fallouts. When used dry, it's gives a very sheer glow to the skin. I don't like highlighters that are too excessively pigmented because I feel like it can make the skin look too shiny. For those of you who seek fantastic pigmentation for a more dramatic look, you can still try this product; just use it wet instead!

Some of you may think ELF's products lack in quality because they're generally super affordable, but you should really check out their Studio line. Let me know what you think in the comments!
