Hello! In this post, I'll be reviewing an eye shadow trio from Wet n Wild that I'm sure you'd have heard of. The Walking On Eggshells palette is a cult favourite that's loved by many and I completely understand why!
Product Description: Coordinating trio shades take the guesswork out of creating the perfect eye look. The "how to" palettes are created to highlight, define, and accentuate specific eye colours to create unique looks.
There are three shades in this palette: A frosty pearl white (browbone), a bronze (crease) and a metallic pale pink (eyelid).
Swatches:
Indoor lighting |
Under sunlight |
This is the eye shadow palette that I reach for most frequently (more than my Naked 3 palette) because it's so simple to apply. I basically just follow the label on each shade and it creates such a pretty yet effortless look. I also love applying just the eyelid shade if I'm in a rush to head out because the pink is so gorgeous. My photos certainly do not do justice to how lovely that shade is. It's the most pigmented and least chalky shade in this palette. The crease shade does not fall behind much in terms of pigmentation. The browbone shade is pretty decent for an eye shadow that's made to highlight under the eyebrow. You can use it at the inner corners of the eyes too.
This product comes with sponge and brush applicators that are quite useless. The quality of the sponge is especially low. Additionally, the plastic packaging is kind of flimsy. But at only $8.50 SGD, this is absolutely worth purchasing because the eye shadows themselves are amazing.
Let me know in the comments what you think if you've tried this palette!
Ooh, I have one of those palettes! I love the softness of that formula. The one I bought has a black, pink, and silver, though. I only use those colors on rare occasion. Maybe I'll pick this one up, too!

love that this palette makes it really easy to create smoky eyes step my step with the markings on each of the patches of colour pigments. it's definitely handy to keep neutral eye colour products nearby - they are really versatile!
